ATL — Atlantic League (Independent)
CAA — Canadian-American Association (Independent)
CAL — California League (Advanced A)
CL — Carolina League (Advanced A)
EL — Eastern League (AA)
FL — Frontier League (Independent)
FSL — Florida State League (Advanced A)
IL — International League (AAA)
MWL — Midwest League (A)
ML — Mexican League (AAA)
NAL — North American League (Independent)
NWL — Northwest League (Short Season A)
NPL — New York-Penn League (Short Season A)
PCL — Pacific Coast League (AAA)
PL — Pioneer League (Advanced Rookie)
SAL — South Atlantic League (A)
SL — Southern League (AA)
TL — Texas League (AA)

Those who have been reading my hockey reviews for years will notice that the penalties here have different values for the same violation, and that these values are generally higher. The reason for this is that I wanted to prevent ties a bit more than I have with the hockey reviews. A lot of penalties also have new names, partly because I came up with better (i.e., shorter) names and partly because I felt like it.
